Puppy Training

To give your puppy the best start in life, it is essential that you teach him or her to be well behaved, have good manners and be friendly to people and other dogs. Puppies grow fast, so you need to begin straight away.

Puppy Classes

Puppy School is an established network of puppy training class tutors. At puppy training classes, only kind, effective techniques are used and puppies are 'educated' to have good manners, be friendly with adults, children and other dogs, and to respond to commands. The classes are stimulating for both dogs and owners. For more information please visit the Puppy School website: www.puppyschool.co.uk.

Puppy School classes are designed for vaccinated puppies aged 20 weeks or less and you will benefit from

  • Small classes to keep the learning atmosphere fun and relaxed

  • A six week course with a professionally trained Puppy School Tutor

  • Course booklet to refer to everything you have learnt on the course

  • Email and phone support for the duration of the course

  • Certificate, rosette and £15 Natures Menu voucher

  • Your 6 week course costs £85 (plus £1 booking fee)

One-to-One Sessions

Elin also offers one to one puppy training at your home or a suitable outdoor location. You may be keen to make a great start with your puppy training before the classes start or simply have further questions on common puppy behaviours like play biting, house training or integrating the puppy successfully into your family. The visit will last around 1.5 hours and costs £50. Any extra visits are charged at £40 per hour.

Training and Socialisation Walks

Don't miss out on a chance to build your confidence as well as your dog's when out and about. During the course we will be covering recall, puppy play, loose lead walking, working around distractions, greeting people appropriately, visiting shops and learning to settle in a cafe environment amongst other things.  It is a 4 week course costing £55 and is suitable for puppies and dogs.  Numbers are limited to enable us to give each dog individual attention.
